    1. Vat69,

DLI is Digital Library of India. Its URL is dli.gov.in
One can only view books at DLI. To download books in pdf format, one will need an additional softwared. One such tool is available at http://dli-downloader.blogspot.in/2013/04/fast-dli-downloader-tool-to-download.html

The key you provided for file access was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on MediaFire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or MediaFire.

  16. Nilesh Bhadra, I also could not locate the 3rd volume of Arthasastra at Digital Library of India. I will write to you if I find it. The 3rd part contains a study of Arthasastra by RP Kangale. It is available in print from Motilal Benarsidass.

  17. Shankara, Please let me know if Kautilya wrote the Arthashastra in Sanskrit or was it Shravana Shastra? Was the script for the Sanskrit language available in 200 B.C?

    1. Sir, The art of writing existed in India much before Kautilya. Sanskrit inscriptions as old as 1st century BC have been found by historians. (refer to Indian epigraphy by DC Sircar). So, there is every chance that he wrote Arthasastra.
